The ULISS welding module is a semi-autonomous system (mandatory integration into a laboratory liquid handling system “LHS”). Once installed and configured, this module allows for the simultaneous and hermetic welding of 2 High Security CBS tubes, in an automated manner. By integrating into an LHS, the steps of filling, welding, and identification (primary and secondary) are carried out securely.

The color code indicating the status of the module is defined as follows:
Steady blue. Module powered on, waiting for initialization or in eco mode.
Green steady. Module operational.
Red steady. Module fault or maintenance required.
Flashing magenta. Maintenance alert for the jaws (number of cycles >= set alarm value). The module can still weld.
Steady magenta. Maintenance fault of the jaws (number of cycles = set alarm value). The module can no longer weld

- Insertion and placement of the tubes into the holder by the gripper.
- Removal of the gripper.
- Motor activation in a counterclockwise direction until reaching the welding position.
- Wait for 7 seconds.
- Motor activation in a clockwise direction back to the initial position.
